Storm Eleanor caused a bit of havoc across the UK recently with her strong winds (some of which reached 100mph!) and ground many parts of the UK to a halt. Let’s be fair, 1 inch of snow does, so strong winds had people running against walls because they didn’t know what to do!
As the storm reached the rest of Europe, it eventually reached the alps where it caused a few sweaty-palm moments for skiers on chair lifts. The video shows 2 skiers in Austria being swung by the strong winds.
Scary, but everyone came out unscathed.
